There are many things that I liked about the hotel and at the top are the Staff and Service. So many of the staff were friendly and helpful that it is a pity I did not take note of all their names. Junaid, Zuleiga, and so many others really should be mentioned. Breakfast was good and diverse and the egg station lady was very accommodating. Room was spacious with a comfortable bed. Laundry service was a bit slow for dry cleaning but good. Housekeeping lady dried my rain drenched clothes and refused to charge me for this. Hotel pool terrace area was not attractive due to the Sheesha /Argyla there. Reliable taxis are easily summoned by reception. A small prayer room on Mezzanine floor is a nice touch. Airport pick up and drop off were reliable and added value. Again, staff are extremely helpful and make a difference.

The hotel is lovely, and the staff are exceptional very friendly they knew our name from day 1 !!. The bedrooms are very clean and with comfortable beds. The breakfast is very nice with lots to choose from hot and cold buffet. The hotel has a small pool on the mezzanine level with a pool bar next to it with nice seating area in the shade just away from the pool area. There is a nice coffee shop next to reception which serves pastries with some chocolate bites. It’s central to the V&A waterfront the hotel has a courtesy bus to the Waterfront at certain times of the day. Uber is only a 10min drive from the hotel. The city bus tour pick up you can walk to the ticket office from the hotel to catch to nice city tour bus Approx 10-15min walk.

The room were recently upgraded and very fresh, great size, water supplied. The staff were super helpful and there was bookable shuttle to take you the short 15min walk into V&A Waterfront which was helpful. There were good amenities in the room with shampoo, body wash, shower caps, tea and coffee making. Lots of wardrobe space. Breakfast was varied and fresh the chef on duty was exceptional and cooked your eggs perfectly, I loved poached and a lot of hotels can't do medium but he was super. The check in was super friendly which I loved as some hotels the staff are super grumpy and I sometimes feel like I am an inconvenience. Also check out the lady enquired if we enjoyed our stay. These things make you want to come back.

Our family had a fantastic stay at the Hyatt Regency Cape Town. The breakfast was delightful, and the room was perfect for our family. Every detail was spot-on, but what made our stay truly special was the staff. Abubakar at the check-in counter was amazing, full of energy, and incredibly helpful. He gave us excellent room options and wonderful local recommendations. They even helped us secure rugby match tickets, making everything seamless. We wished we had stayed longer, as it was an exceptional experience all around.

The staff definitely made this trip a highlight for us, from the front desk to the breakfast team to housekeeping and the concierge. We had such wonderful encounters with all the staff. We stayed for a week and breakfast was great, we didn't get bored and there was ample the chef would accommodate for us. The room was clean and large, the bathroom was also larger than most.
